Princess and the frog.....

Last weekend I saw Princess and the frog with my little sister. I grew up with classic 2D Disney movies and I was excited to see Disney's latest 2D animated musical. Overall the movie was really cute and was entertaining for both children and adults. 3 out of 4 stars, good movie. Not a waist of money, if your kid is bugging you to take them to see this just take them this is one animated movie that is actually tolerable for adults.

NEW MOON.......

One month ago I saw new moon the movie sequel to Stephenie Myers popular book series. First off I absolutely hated the twilight movie and did not want to see new moon but my sister Kayleigh is a huge twilight fan and she talked me into seeing the movie with her. So I laid back and watched the movie at first I thought it was a little dull but then I started to get into it and was really intrigued. Although I enjoyed the movie and thought it was interesting I really hate what Stephenie has done to vampires. Shes turned vampires and were-wolves into one big joke. But she has come up with one crazy love story ill give her that and I'm interested to see what comes next. So I give this movie 3 out of 4 stars. This movie is more for teen girls and their moms but some adults really enjoy the twilight series as well and this movie is definitely not good for children.

the blind side?!?!?

One week ago I saw the blind side which I was excited to see (even though I hate football). Overall the movie was really good, great acting, good story, and best of all it was a true story. You really fall in love with the main character BIG MIKE and Sandra Bullock who plays a rich wife that takes in BIG MIKE and treats him like part of the family. This is not just a football story it is also a love story that will touch your heart. I give this great movie three and a half stars out of four, TWO THUMBS UP! A must see but you could easily get the same affect of watching this movie at home so if you really want to see this go see it in the theater but otherwise Id say wait till DVD if you want to save a little money. And this movie might not be so great for kids under the age of ten; this movie is appropriate for kids, just kids under the age of ten might not enjoy it so much. It is a very deep story filled with loving and caring moments around every corner sure to please audiences of all ages.

OLD DOGS.....

So about 2 weeks ago I saw old dogs the new Robin W. and John T. movie. Most of the critics were bashing the movie and giving it terrible reviews but I am here to give you the real review. The movie was good but not great; it wasn't anything special of course (like I was expecting) but it was a good film for the whole family. I give it one thunb up and one thumb done,two and a half stars out of four. It was a good film just something entertaining to get your mind off things for a while. But like I said nothing special and will most likely be forgotten in a couple of years, and is not worth seeing in the theater you should defiantly wait for DVD on this one.

AVATAR!!!

Just saw avatar and it was incredibly amazing! 4 out of 4 stars, TWO THUMBS UP! It had a great story, great acting, and stunning visuals, this is a must see in the theater. This is one of those movies that you have to experience at least once in the theater. Best movie of the year no doubt. When you go to see this you must see it in the theater and in 3D; it is alot of money these days for 3D movies let alone a regular movie but trust me it is worth every penny. If you have kids I suggest they be at least 10yrs old because if they are any younger they might not quit comprehend the story or be into it. I was a little nervous about this movie at first but now I am proud to say JAMES CAMERON HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!!

going 2 see avatar

Alright so my names Nathan and i love movies I see a different movie every weekend. Most critics give terrible reviews on movies so that's why I'm doing these movie blogs from now on because the public needs real reviews from real people like me. So if you are ever debating about going to see a movie or not, all you have to do is check out my blog ill give you precise info about the movie and tell you if the movie is more for adults or children and who would enjoy the movie more. I love movies so much I break them down into pieces after I see them and find out why I loved or hated the movie so much. Ill rank the movie 1-4 stars and give it two thumbs up or two thumbs down and tell you if the movie is worth seeing in the theater. So today I'm going to see AVATAR in 3D and there are alot of mixed reviews from the critics; I'm a huge James Cameron fan and I'm really excited for the movie but alot of critics are saying the dialog and story is really weak. The movie is 252min and is rated PG-13 for sensuality,warfare,some smoking,language and intense battle sequences. My movie starts at 11:50am and ill be back between 4 and 5'o'clock to review the movie. Also when I get back Ill review movies Ive seen over the last couple of weeks.
